“Erasmo Castelli” is the Winery’s leading wine, made only from Montepulciano grapes, harvested in crates, with each hectare on the estate yielding 3,500kg.
The grapes ferment slowly on skins in oak casks and are moved to new oak barriques for malolactic fermentation and about 24 months ageing
